My family and I stayed at this marvelous resort from June 7 to 14, 2008. We had a fabulous time at this beautiful resort! You can't beat the beach and pool; the best! The food was always good, we went to all the A la Carte restaurants and I would recommend them all. The best part of the trip was meeting all the staff; they were all great and always helpful, they made us feel like family! My son turned 9 on the last day of our vacation and the staff went out of their way to get a birthday cake for him to celebrate, it was great he loved it.
A BIG thank you to all the staff at Tryp Cayo Coco!
This was a second trip to this resort and you can bet we'll be back soon!

This was my 9th stay at the Tryp. It is a lovely hote. The staff, no matter what their position within the hotel, are friendly and courteous. They are always happy to see me return. I look forward to another visit to the Tryp in August 2008.
Thank you all for a restful and relaxing holiday!!!

Just got back from a 7 day trip to this hotel. Was a little worried at first due to the other reviews, but we had a wonderful time. The rooms a basic but that is to be expected. Food in the buffet - a wide range of choice. Visited the lunch time grill and the pizza place, both very nice. Didn't manage to get into any of the a la carte restuarants. The beach is lovely. We stay round the smaller pool as it was quieter. All in all, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

This was our second trip back to the Tryp Hotel. If you can get a good price for an oceanview room with a balcony at this resort I am sure you will be very pleased with what you get. The food in the a la carte restaurants was excellent. The buffet has a good selection, however it can be a little repetitive. The pizza hut and the grill serve up a mean lunch and the drinks there are pretty good too. It is the only resort on the island which has a flamingo sanctuary. Save some crackers and feed the flamingos. They will come right up to you. The beach is very nice however you do have to go down and put your towels on the chairs early in the morning to reserve them. The staff is very friendly and courteous, however they do things much slower than we are used to, just remember you are in Cuba not Canada. We would recommend the Tryp Hotel. Please See the Photos we took.
